Meredith Baxter starred for years as Elise
Keaton, the architect
mom on "Family Ties". Back then, she was known as Meredith Baxter-Birney
as it was before her eventual divorce. Elise was wife to Steven, and
mother to Alex, Mallory, Jennifer, and later Andrew.
Meredith
never did any nudity through her career up to and including "Family Ties".
However, she surprised many of her fans by appearing nude in the movie "My
Breast". The movie was a landmark of sorts: a made-for-TV move that was
broadcast with nudity. Meredith had one scene in which she bare her
breasts for a doctor's examination and another in which she watches
herself nude in a mirror, as a woman who is diagnosed with breast cancer.
I guess showing the nudity in the context of a medical ailment makes it OK
to show. You don't have to wade through that pseudo-serious movie to see
the nude scenes though, plenty of pictures of her nude are available on
